Moka Studio

Moka Studio is a creative practice founded in 2020 by Rossella Petrini and Andrea Bertolini, bringing together fashion, craft, visual communication, and experimentation.

Rossella’s practice focuses on upcycling, hand embroidery, garment reconstruction, and working with second-hand and deadstock materials. Andrea expands Moka’s visual language through graphic design, illustration, animation, photography, and self-published magazines. Together, their work moves between clothing, objects, images, and printed matter, always starting from what already exists.

In 2025, Moka participated in Melbourne Fashion Week through MINDPOPUP, continuing its exploration of alternative approaches to fashion and self-expression. In August 2026, this evolved into Spazzatura, an exhibition at Border Space in Sydney exploring waste, excess, and the overlooked through garments, objects, images, and music.

Influenced by skateboarding and its DIY attitude, Moka embraces imperfection, resourcefulness, and the freedom to experiment. At its core, the studio is about giving existing materials and ideas a new life, while creating a space where fashion and visual culture can exist side by side.
