This poster was created for GYOZA, an early night aperitif + jam session rooted in the hidden, electric energy of Torino — “la città nera”, the place where I was born. The design was inspired by the city's underground culture, moody architecture, and stormy skies — nodding to the melting pot of influences that shape Torino’s evolving creative scene.
The event took place at the Gyoza Music Bar in Vanchiglia, where experimental jazz, psych rock, and live improvisations collided from 7 pm until 10 pm.
The design style leans into comic-book aesthetics, heavy shadows, and metallic textures to reflect the raw, electric vibe of an evening in the underground, where the lines between music, performance, and visual art blur.
